Sync Rules

FieldFX Sync Rules are used to define the logic that determines which records are synced to Mobile and under what conditions. Sync Rules are evaluated by the Sync Engine when a sync profile is run, and they can be used to filter records, set field values, or trigger specific behaviors on Mobile.

Types of Sync Rules

There are several types of Sync Rules that can be configured in FieldFX:

Filter Rules:

These rules determine which records are included in the sync based on specific criteria. For example, you can create a filter rule to only sync active records or records that meet certain conditions.

Field Update Rules:

These rules allow you to set or update field values on records before they are synced to Mobile. For example, you can set a default value for a field or update a status field based on certain conditions.

Trigger Rules:

These rules can trigger specific actions on Mobile when certain conditions are met ** For example, you can trigger a notification or a workflow when a record is synced.
