Work Order Record Types

Introduction

All Work Orders belong to one of six record types.

Record type controls the status flow and the types of work orders available.

For example a Work Order with a Corrective record type cannot be for Preventive work.

Key Features

Work order types are automatically selected in most cases.
Only Corrective, Model, and Work Request types can be manually created.
Work Orders generated from a Model Work Order inherit the Work Order Type of the Model Work Order
