Warehouse Item Setup
Introduction
The Warehouse Item record has been deprecated and is no longer supported or updated. Use the Stock Item record instead which requires a FX EAM license. Once FX EAM is installed, follow the steps in to add stock items. |
Warehouse items represent the equipment and supplies stored in warehouses.
Prerequisites
To setup and use Warehouse Items, you need to:

How Warehouse Items Work
When you add a warehouse item, you can track its on hand quantity using the Inventory Tracking feature.
Relationship with Catalog Items

You must link a warehouse item to a catalog item.

You can only add one warehouse item per catalog item, per warehouse.

To track the on hand quantity of a warehouse item using the Inventory Tracking feature, you must select Track Inventory for its linked catalog item.

Select Track Inventory for a catalog item to track its on hand quantity using the Inventory Tracking feature.
Add a Warehouse Item

Open the Warehouses tab.

Open a warehouse.

Click Edit.

Under Warehouse Items, click New Warehouse Item.

In Catalog Item, select a catalog item.

In Quantity On Hand, enter the current on hand quantity.

In Low Quantity, enter the on hand quantity at which to order the item.

In Reorder Quantity, enter the quantity in which to order the item.

Click Save.
