Ticket Item Import enables field users to import ticket items from a file of comma-separated values (.csv) to FieldFX Mobile on a desktop device.

System administrators must:

Adding the Ticket Item Import Custom Setting

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Switch to Salesforce Classic

  3. From Setup, enter "custom setting" in the Quick Find box, then select Custom Settings

  4. Click FX Settings

  5. Click New

  6. Select Checkbox

  7. Click Next

  8. Enter "Enable Mobile Ticket Item Import" in Field Label

  9. Accept the Default Value of Unchecked

  10. Click Next

  11. Click Save

Activating Ticket Item Import for Mobile Users

  1. From Setup, enter "custom setting" in the Quick Find box, then select Custom Settings

  2. Click Manage next to FX Settings

  3. Modify or create a new Custom Settings access record for the mobile user or profile.

    Review the FX Settings setup] for instructions on enabling Custom Settings by profile or users.

  4. In the Custom Settings access record for the user or profile, click Enable Mobile Ticket Item Import

  5. Click Save
