Review the requirements below to ensure the equipment you have can run on both parts of FieldFX (Back Office and Mobile).

Use a test environment that matches your production setup, including:

  • Geographic location

  • Hardware

  • Browser and OS

  • Network conditions

  • Expected number of concurrent users

Supported Environments

FieldFX is a cloud-based field operations management solution built on the Salesforce platform.

FieldFX consists of two components:

  • FieldFX Back Office – for office and administrative users, accessed through Salesforce

  • FieldFX Mobile – for field users, accessed through supported mobile platforms

FieldFX Back Office operates entirely within Salesforce and is subject to Salesforce platform requirements and supported environments.

FieldFX Mobile supports both online and offline operation, with synchronization when connectivity is restored.

Internet Connection

A continuous internet connection is required for FieldFX Back Office.

Operating System Support

Only operating system versions that continue to receive security updates from the device manufacturer are supported.

  • Google Chrome recommended

Salesforce may change minimum platform requirements at any time.

Mobile Requirements

Contact your account representative to verify if a tablet or phone model is supported.

Important Notes and Limitations

FieldFX supports only operating system versions that:

  • Receive active security updates from the device manufacturer

  • Are supported by Salesforce (for Back Office)
