FieldFX Mobile App Overview

Introduction

The FieldFX Mobile App supports Android, iOS, and Windows. It can be used on tablets, iPads, iPhones and laptops running these platforms. To use the FieldFX Mobile App, your hardware and software must meet the requirements in Requirements.

The screenshots in this documentation are taken from an Android tablet. The same screens on the iPhone may look different, but they function the same.

There is also the FieldFX Mobile Beta App which uses the same documentation as the FieldFX Mobile App. The primary differences are the icon and update cadence. Check your app store and look for the appropriate icon.

The main page is the Jobs list that appears when you log into the FieldFX Mobile App.

The FieldFX Mobile App supports Jobs, Tickets, and Work Orders.

Device Storage

The FieldFX Mobile App requires sufficient available storage space on the user’s device to download FieldFX data.

If a lack of storage prevents syncing, review the content on the device and remove unneeded apps and pictures to free space.

If the device uses more than 80% of its available storage, a warning displays on the Sync screen.

Tap on the warning bar for recommendations on how to increase available storage.
