Ticket Log Grid

The Ticket Log grid displays the Ticket Log entries on a ticket, sorted by Start Time

You can’t change the sort order.

Define the fields on the Ticket Log grid by configuring the Ticket Log Layout for the Ticket Log object.

The Category, Comments, Start Time, and Stop Time fields always display on the Ticket Log grid. If you remove these fields from the Ticket Log Layout, blank placeholders will display on the grid.

Setting Up the Ticket Log

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Switch to Salesforce Classic

  3. From Setup, enter "object" in the Quick Find box, then select Objects

  4. Click Ticket Log

  5. Complete the following:

    1. Under Custom Fields & Relationships, click Category

    2. Under Picklist Options in Values, click New

    3. Enter the tasks for which you should record Ticket Log entries, with each value on its own line

      For example:

      "Arrived at Work Site"
      "Met with Company Man"
      "Rig Up"

    4. Click Save

    5. Complete the following for every task not required:

      1. Under Picklist Options in Values, click Del next to the item

      2. Click OK
