FieldFX Mobile App
We have created a new FieldFX Mobile application that can run on Android, iOS, and Windows tablets.
This app has these feature:

Look-ups
In the app, you can click on a look up field to search the list of qualified records. The search layout determines the available columns in FieldFX Back Office. The user can filter their own search criteria.
A new filter mechanism is available for the look-up fields on jobs, accounts, and price books. When clicking on a look-up, FieldFX Mobile evaluates the filter for the field defined in the static resource file.
Using a look-up field on a job page only shows records meeting the defined filter criteria in the static resource file accessible to a user.
If the filter criteria is blank or doesn’t exist in the static resource file, all records a user has access to are shown.
The read only grid shown to the user has:

File Handling
The FieldFX Mobile App can handle files by creating a file list page, pick a file from a file on the device, a stored image, or access the device’s camera.
If the sync config profile file deletion setting is enabled, a long press on the file deletes the file. This is only for uploaded files from the device and no downloaded files.
Report Generation
You can view and create reports in FieldFX Mobile.
You can also:

Translations
Translations are supported in the new app.
New custom label conventions have been added. Label names are in three parts:

App Navigation
Navigating inside the FieldFX Mobile app has been made easier by:

Using a top level navigation for jobs and tickets

Jobs and Tickets can be chosen from the hamburger nav and not reset the nav history

Jobs and Tickets have a top button navigation on their main screen
-
Navigating in the Job and Ticket doesn’t add to the history
-
Navigating into a ticket from a job opens a new screen with a button bar, and going back returns to the job screen from the ticket

Removing the old side bar navigation

After creating a new ticket, the user sees the ticket details screen
Base Package
The FieldFX Base Package has been updated with the following:
E-Mail Notification Configuration Tool
This is a new email notification configuration admin tool that can be used to inform users by email when there is a file attached to an sObject. Depending on a selected template, an admin can tailor the text and parameters of the email that is sent.

PM Group Schedules based on Meters
In EAM, you can define meter-based PM Group Schedules, instead of just calendar-based PM Schedules. This will allow generation of multiple PM group details and work orders that are meter-based. Otherwise, multiple PM Schedule would have to be generated each with its own work order (which is the only option currently available for meter-based schedules).
Before, multiple PM Schedules have to be created at each meter schedule interval results in creation of additional work orders.
