Ticket Checklist Setup

Adding a Ticket Checklist

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Add the ticket checklist:

    1. Open the Checklists tab

    2. Click New

    3. In Checklist Name, enter a name for the checklist

    4. Complete the following:

      If you don’t restrict a checklist with these options, the checklist displays for every ticket.

      1. In Office, select an office to use the checklist on tickets for that office only

      2. In Account, select a customer to use the checklist on tickets for that customer only

      3. In Segment, select a business segment to use the checklist on tickets for that segment only

      4. In Job Type, select a job type to use the checklist on tickets for that job type only

      5. In Ticket Type, select a ticket type to use the checklist on tickets of that type only.

    5. Click Save

  3. Add the checklist steps:

    1. Under Checklist Steps, click New Checklist Step

    2. Complete the following:

      1. In Checklist Step Name, enter a name for the step

      2. In Description, enter the text to display for the step on the checklist

        For example, "Check in with the gate guard"

      3. In Sequence Number, enter a sequence number to set the position of the step on the checklist

        For example, enter 1.0000 if the step is the first one on the checklist. Enter 5.0000 if the step is the fifth one on the checklist.

      4. (Optional) In Screen, select the tab on the Ticket page in FieldFX Mobile to display when a user selects the step on a checklist:

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/details to display the Details tab

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/items to display the Items tab

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/logs to display the Logs tab

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/reports to display the Reports tab

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/forms to display the Forms tab

        • Select ticket/{trackingNumber}/files to display the Files tab

    3. Click Save & New

    4. Repeat steps b and c for additional steps

    5. Click Save to finish

  4. Configure sharing settings to grant access to the checklist
