Qualification Setup

Introduction

Qualifications are certifications or licenses required to work on a job.

To add qualifications, you need to:

  • Minimum permissions for the FieldFX modules you are using

  • System permissions:

    • Manage Sharing

    • View Setup and Configuration

When you add a qualification, you can:

Adding a Qualification

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office.

  2. Add the qualification:

    1. Open the Qualifications tab.

    2. Click New.

    3. Complete the following:

      Field Action

      Qualification Name

      Enter the name of the qualification.

      Abbreviation

      Enter an abbreviation to use for the qualification

      Category

      Specify whether the qualification applies to crew or equipment

    4. Click Save.

  3. Complete one of the following:

  4. Configure sharing settings to grant access to the qualification.

Assigning a Qualification to Crew

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office.

  2. Open the Qualifications tab.

  3. Open the qualification.

  4. Complete the following:

    Field Action

    Under Contact Qualifications

    Click New Contact Qualification.

    Contact Qualification Name

    Enter the name of a qualified crew member.

    Contact

    1. Select the crew member’s user contact

    2. Select the date range in which the qualification is valid.

  5. Click Save & New.

  6. For other qualifications, repeat these steps.

  7. Click Save to finish.

Assigning a Qualification to Equipment

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office.

  2. Open the Qualifications tab.

  3. Open the qualification.

  4. Complete the following:

    Field Action

    Equipment Qualification Name

    Enter the name of the qualified equipment.

    Equipment

    Select the qualified equipment.

  5. Click Save & New.

  6. For other qualifications, repeat these steps.

  7. Click Save to finish.
