Required FieldFX Connected Apps
These connected apps are required to provide OAuth-based integrations where third-party applications can securely interact with FieldFX via APIs. They are managed through Salesforce’s Connected Apps framework and are needed for secure data exchange, user authentication, and session control between FieldFX and external systems.
How FieldFX uses Connected Apps
Installation & Configuration
In the Setup of your org under Managed Connected Apps, these connected apps are vital to running FieldFX:

In the Setup for your org, use the Quick Find box and enter
Connected Apps. -
Select Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
At this screen shows all the connected apps, including the FieldFX Connected Apps used in the org. Use the Install button to manage policies and the Block button to prevent new sessions with the connected app and end all current user sessions.

Find the required connected apps and click Install if is not already installed.

Salesforce shows a new screen showing your username and confirmation on whether the shown connected app should be installed. Once installed, you control its security policies and who can access it.

Click Install if installing these connected apps.
The App Detail screen appears.

For the all the FieldFX connected app:
In the Connected App Edit screen, you may need to change Enforce ID restrictionsin IP Relaxation in the OAuth Policies section toRelax IP restrictions. -
To specify which user profiles can access these connected apps, you can either:

At the list of connected apps, click the connected app name.

In the Profiles section, click Manage Profiles

At the Application Profile Assignment screen, select the profiles that can use the connected app.

Click Save

To set the permission sets for the connected app:

At the list of connected apps, click the connected app name.

In the Permission Sets section, click Manage Permission Sets.

Select the permission set(s) in the Application Permission Set Assignment screen.

Click Save.

Click Edit Policies and define the policies specific to your org.

When finished, click Save.
