In EAM, we fixed an issue on a work order where the Total Actual Work Order Cost value wasn’t getting cleared after the Task Labor was deleted.

Now when the Task Labor is deleted, the Total Actual Work Order Cost value gets cleared.

Now, when a Work Order is Deep Copied, no extra Work Task is added.

We made an enhancement and removed the Required flag on the FX5__Price_Book_Item__c field on the Quote item which created an issue for existing implementations. The customer was trying to retroactively update data for existing customers (due to process changes) and getting an error.

For the Salesforce Winter '23 release, their change caused problems with some VisualForce pages. The change could also be enabled by a customer. We updated our FieldFX Managed Package and FieldFX Lightning Managed Package for this change.

Salesforce has indefinitely postponed this change. Due to the timing and Salesforce’s change of plans, some customers may have already installed this change.

In Back Office, we fixed an error by adding a new FX5.FXEditorSearchController.ColumnInfo.Label field. The error causes the installation of FX Lightning to fail or in Back Office could return the following error message:

Unknown property FX5.FXEditorSearchController.ColumnInfo.Label

A customer encounters the error When trying to enter a Work Task on a Planned Stock item when double-clicking into the Work Task field to search for the relevant Work Task.

Without this field, the users has to go into each separate Planned Stock item and update the Work Task, increasing the time it takes them to get through the Work Order.

We have enhanced the FX EAM lookup on the work task to populate with the model work order record and not the parent work order record. We’ve added a reporting metric to determine labor cost vs. parts per work task and integration.

We fixed an issue where the PM schedules aren’t updating when a Work Order is completed in Mobile.

The PM schedule now updates and resets when a user completes a Work Order that is tied to a PM Schedule. A FieldFX Back Office trigger isn’t triggered when the Work Order changes to the Completed status in FieldFX Mobile and synced back to FieldFX Back Office.

We fixed an issue where the FX5__Current_Work_Order__c object is not updated on the FX5__PMSchedule__c if using an event based PM schedule. If the Work Order is created, the FX5_Current_Work_Order__c field is not updated.

With this release, if you create a Work Order and use a PM schedule, the FX5_Current_Work_Order__c field is updated.

We fixed an issue where FX5__PM_Due_Date__c wasn’t updated when a work order was completed when using a calendar based on a PM schedule.

We added a new CDN Advanced Report Resource URL (API Name: FX5__CDN_Advanced_Report_Resource_URL__c) setting in FX Settings to allow the user to set the version (Beta or Latest) they want to use of the Report Template Editor.

Admin Dashboard

We added a new Advanced Report Template for the Admin Dashboard. It requires a new custom setting to be added for the user. The admin needs to enable the FX5.Admin Tool - Advanced Report Editor custom permission. Without the permission enable, the Advanced Report Editor doesn’t appear on the Admin Dashboard. See Required Permissions in Report Templates.

We fixed error in the Catalog Item Price Book Batch Processing that was failing when editing these fields in the Pricebook:

  • Archived

  • Effective Date

  • Expiration Date

  • Account number

When you archive or activate the price book, the batch job isn’t triggered. When you insert or remove price book items, the price book index is still updated. The purpose is to speed up the search on mobile.

We fixed issue where a user clicks the Upload Only button on the mobile dashboard a process is also started. This causes the Sync Event Processor to run twice processing the same set of records twice. Solution was to lock the records that were called first causing the second call to just get the updated records.

This only applies to users with auto-upload enabled.
