Single Sign-On Setup for FieldFX Mobile

Prerequisites

To set up single sign-on, you need:

  • System permissions:

    • Customize Application

    • Modify All Data

    • View Setup and Configuration

Basics

Single sign-on allows users to log in to FieldFX using their domain credentials.

This saves the need for users to have numerous login credentials for devices and applications.

Configuring a Single Sign-On Domain for FieldFX Mobile

  1. Set up signgle sign- on for Salesforce

    See the Salesforce documentation in their Single Sign-On Implementation Guide.

    LiquidFrameworks is not able to assist with setting up Single Sign-On for Salesforce.

  2. Gather the following information:

    • What is your company’s My Domain URL as specified in your company’s production Salesforce org?

    • What is your company’s My Domain URL as specified in your company’s sandbox Salesforce org?

      The org’s domain can be found by going to Setup, type Domain in the Quick Find, then click My Domain under Company Settings.

    • What subdomain of *.fieldx.com would you like to use to access FieldFX Mobile for your *production* org?

      For example: mycompany.fieldfx.com

    • What subdomain of *.fieldfx.com would you like to use to access FieldFX Mobile for your *sandbox* org?

      For example: mycompanytest.fieldfx.com

  3. Send the answers from step 1 to your LiquidFrameworks implementation manager or support
