Sync Simulator

Prerequisites

To set up the Sync Simulator, you need the following licenses:
- FieldFX Base Package
- FieldFX E-Ticketing
To set up the Sync Simulator, you must:
- Set up the FX E-Ticketing module
- Set up the Sync Simulator
To set up the Sync Simulator, you need:
- FX E-Ticketing minimum permissions
- System permissions:
  - Customize Application
  - View Setup and Configuration

Basics

The Sync Simulator displays a real-time snapshot of the data and attachments that sync to FieldFX Mobile for a user.

This gives you intelligent insight into what users are syncing and helps you identify bottlenecks that are affecting Sync Engine performance.

Open a user record, click Login, and open the Sync Simulator tab.

The Sync Simulator displays an object-by-object breakdown of the data and attachments that sync to FieldFX Mobile for a user.

If you make changes to sharing or other settings that control syncable data, refresh the page to display updated information.
Move the mouse over Query next to an object to see the query used to control syncable data/attachments for that object.
Move the mouse over References next to an object to see the lookups on that object.
