Qualification Setup

Prerequisites

  • To add qualifications, you must setup the following:

  • To add qualifications, you need the following permissions:

    • Minimum permissions for the FieldFX modules you are using

    • System permissions:

      • Manage Sharing

      • View Setup and Configuration

Basics

Qualifications are certifications or licenses required to work on a job.

How it Works

When you add a qualification, you can:

  • Assign the qualification to qualified crew

  • Assign the qualification to qualified equipment

  • Add qualification requirements to jobs

Adding a Qualification

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Add the qualification:

    1. Open the Qualifications tab

    2. Click New

    3. In Qualification Name, enter the name of the qualification

    4. In Abbreviation, enter an abbreviation to use for the qualification

    5. In Category, specify whether the qualification applies to crew or equipment

    6. Click Save.

  3. Complete one of the following:

  4. Configure sharing settings to grant access to the qualification.

Assigning a Qualification to Crew

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Open the Qualifications tab

  3. Open the qualification

  4. Under Contact Qualifications, click New Contact Qualification

  5. In Contact Qualification Name, enter the name of a qualified crew member

  6. In Contact, select the crew member’s user contact

  7. Select the date range in which the qualification is valid

  8. Click Save & New

  9. Repeat steps 5 to 8.Click Save to finish

Assigning a Qualification to Equipment

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Open the Qualifications tab

  3. Open the qualification

  4. Under Equipment Qualifications, click New Equipment Qualification

  5. In Equipment Qualification Name, enter the name of the qualified equipment

  6. In Equipment, select the qualified equipment

  7. Click Save & New

  8. Repeat steps 5 to 7

    Click Save to finish.
