Enhancements

Threshold for Days in the Day Timeline View (#222)

We have updated the behavior for when a planning record shows as including a day for overnight shifts:

  • A record that includes a time span beyond midnight now occupies both days (before and after midnight) on the schedule

  • Records that end on midnight are not considered to span two days.

  • Records that end at any time after midnight (12:01 am or later) are considered to span two days.

Example 1. Record ends at midnight

If a planning record begins on Thursday at 4:00 pm and ends at 12:00 am (midnight) , the day view shows the record as only occupying Thursday.

Example 2. Record ends at one minute after midnight

If a planning record begins on Thursday at 4:00 pm and ends at 12:01 am the next day, the day view shows the record as occupying both Thursday and Friday.
