FX Forms

Prerequisites

Basics

  • FX Forms are interactive forms.

  • You can complete FX Forms to record details about a job or ticket.

Example of a JSA form in FieldFX Mobile
Figure 1. An FX Form that records the results of a job safety analysis (JSA)
  • There are two types of FX Form:

    • Basic FX Forms

    • Child FX Forms

Basic FX Forms

  • Basic FX Forms record details about a job or ticket.

For example, results of a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or details for an equipment transfer.

  • Basic FX Forms have a master-detail relationship with the Job or Ticket object:

    • If an FX Form has a master-detail relationship with the Job object, you can add the FX Form to jobs.

    • If an FX Form has a master-detail relationship with the Ticket object, you can add the FX Form to tickets.

Child FX Forms

  • Child FX Forms record information related to another FX Form.

Example 1. Using a form for wireline loggin tickets

If an FX Form records details for wireline logging tickets, add a child FX Form to record the measurements made during each loggin run.

  • Child FX Forms have a master-detail relationship with a parent FX Form.
