Classification Setup

Prerequisites

To add classifications, you need the following permissions:

  • Minimum permissions for the FieldFX modules you are using

  • System permissions:

    • Manage Sharing

    • View Setup and Configuration

Basics

Classifications categorize similar catalog items together.

How it Works

When you assign classifications to catalog items, you can:

Adding a Classification

  1. Access FieldFX Back Office

  2. Open the Classifications tab

  3. Click New

  4. In Classification Name, enter a name for the classification

  5. Click Save

  6. Configure sharing settings to grant access to the classification

  7. If you use quotes, set up classification filters.
