Add Active Flag for Validation Rules (#817)

  • Mobile Validations can be marked as Active or Inactive in the Mobile Validations tool.

  • Validations marked Inactive have no impact in FieldFX Mobile.

Load Existing Validations File (#501)

  • When accessing the Mobile Validation Tool for the first time, the tool checks for and loads the existing validation rules.

  • If invalid data is found in the rule, an error message displays on the screen, but valid data still loads and can be used.

    The user must remove the invalid data from the static resource file used for Mobile Validations to resolve the errror.

Rule Processor Setup (#273, 447)

  • The Price Book Rules tool checks if the Rule Processor is properly setup.

  • If not, the tool automatically complete the required setup steps.

Identify Origin Price Book During Import (#502)

  • When importing multiple rules, a column now displays identifying the Price Book the rule is for.

  • This helps the user select the desired rule to import.

Preview a Report from the XML Editor (#174)

  • If a report is edited in the XML editor, the user now has the option to preview the report from the XML editor screen.

Support Multiple Logos (#165, 459)

  • The Report Editor now supports storing and managing more than one logo file.

  • When a logo is added to a report, the user has the ability to select an existing logo asset file or upload a new file.

    Previously uploaded images appear in the Manage Assets dialog, if available, and can be selected for the report.

  • The Logo tool has been replaced with a Manage Assets tool. When selected, the same Manage Assets window appears as when working with logo files from the Report Template Wizard.

  • From the Manage Assets tool, an image can be deleted or an set as the default image to use for Report Template logos.

    Deleting image asset files does not affect reports that may already use the file. Report templates copy the file into the template and do not refer to the asset files.

Import Report XML Template Files (#304)

  • XML Template Files on a user’s PC can be uploaded to the Report Templates tool.

    1. In the Report Template tool, select the object to which to upload the template.

    2. In a separate computer window, select the file to upload.

    3. Drag the file onto the Report Templates screen.

    4. Specify the Title for the report and select the Sobject to use

Editing a Report in Back Office Opens the Selected Report in the Report Editor Tool (#297)

  • When a user selects a report to edit in Back Office, they are redirected to the Admin Portal’s Report Templates tool.

  • The user is taken directly to the Report Template’s edit screen for the report they wish to edit.

    Previously, the user was taken to the list of reports for the object instead.
