FXL Report Viewer

Introduction

The PDF reports displayed in the FXL Report Viewer when using Lightning Experience are live, meaning they are automatically refreshed when data on the underlying record is changed.

To use the FieldFX Lightning package starting with version 1.225, you must use the FieldFX Managed Package version 1.529 or higher.

The FXL Report Viewer displays:

  • Reports for the active record in FieldFX Back Office

  • The active record page if configured for display from set up

    • You can also display the FXL Report Viewer in a separate window or you can configure custom labels for the FXL Report Viewer Lightning Component.

The resource file must be named en_US.js, not en_US with no extension.

If using Back Office and the FX Report Lightning component, you will only see the report templates meeting the criteria set by the report template administrator.

The report template administrator could create a report filter that uses Logical Operators, like AND or OR, and also could contain custom filters on the report template’s master SObject.
