Setting Up FX Rental

Overview

  1. Contact Support to install the FX Rental managed package

  2. Grant permissions to job resource planners and warehouse managers

Install the FX Rental Managed Package and Assign Permissions

  1. Contact Support to install the FX Rental managed package

  2. Assign FX Rental permissions to Job Resource planners, Warehouse Managers, and warehouse workers who pick resources

Create or Modify Equipment Items Used on Jobs

  1. Repeat for additional Equipment Items

Modify Page Layouts

  1. Add the following to the Catalog Item page layout(s):

    • Hauling Charge Type

  2. Add the following to the Contact page layout(s):

    • Is Driver

    • Truck

  3. Add the following to the Location page layout(s):

    • Position

    • Is Dropoff

    • Is Pickup

    • Driving Directions

  4. Add the following to the Status object’s Ticket Status layout(s):

    • Route Status

  5. Add the following to the Ticket page layout(s):

    • Route

  6. Add the following to the Ticket Item page layout(s):

    • Hauling Charge Type

    • Location

  7. Add the following to the Well page layout(s):

    • Location
