FX Trucking Overview

Prerequisites

  • To set up the FX Rental module, you need the following licenses:

  • To set up the FX Rental module, you must:

    • Set up the FX E-Ticketing module

    • Enable Tableau CRM

      1. From Setup, enter Analytics in the Quick Find, then select Analytics → Analytics → Getting Started

      2. Select Enable Tableau CRM

  • To set up the FX Rental module, you need:

    • System Administrator permissions for Salesforce

Basics

  • FX Rental allows planners to manage the availability and assignment of goods to jobs.

  • A Job Planner can assign resources from a quote or a price book to a job.

  • Warehouse managers or employees use a Picksheet to select the items from the warehouse floor and, when necessary, assign serial numbers of specific items to the Job.

  • Once assigned, the warehouse schedules the items for delivery to the job site.

Consider FX Trucking for managing the hauling of items to and from job sites.

Getting There

  • From FieldFX Back Office, go to the Rental app.

  • Warehouse personnel can download the FX Picksheet app for their mobile device

      Records details of a pickup and dropoff request for a driver to complete.

    • Route Change

      Records information about changes to the route and the time, location, ticket, driver, and truck used for a pickup or dropoff.
