Use the Inventory Transactions page to view or add FX EAM Inventory Transactions in FieldFX Mobile.

Step-by-Step Guides

For Inventory Transactions, you can access the list, add, or view inventory transactions.

Access Inventory Transaction List

Select the Inventory Transactions tab while viewing a Work Order.

Add an Inventory Transaction

  1. From a work order, select the Inventory Transactions tab.

  2. Tap the blue Add a new Inventory Transactions + button.

    • The label for the button does not appear if there are any existing Inventory Transactions for the work order on the device.

    • FieldFX now creates a planned record in Back Office and the planned stock record updates if the user creates a second Inventory Transaction for the same stock item. The Work Order captures the changed Inventory Cost.

  3. Make the following entries:

    Field Description

    Stock Item

    Part to add to the work order

    Qty

    Number of the Stock Item to add to the work order

    To return an item, enter a negative quantity.

    Trans Type

    Issue to add the item to the work order

    Transaction Date

    Select the date for the part add

    The current date defaults.

  4. Tap Add to add the transaction.

    The transaction uploads to FieldFX Back Office at the next sync.

View a Inventory Transaction

  1. Access a Work Order on the mobile device.

  2. Tap the Inventory Transactions tab.

  3. Tap the Inventory Transaction to view.

  4. Review the transaction, then tap Checkmark in the bottom right of the window to close the transaction and return to the Inventory Transactions list.

Use the walkthrough to view explanations of buttons and controls available on the current screen.

Using the Walkthrough

To display the walkthrough, select the help question mark button on the sidebar.

To move through the explanations of each feature, select Prev or Next.

To close the walkthrough, select End tour.

Customizing Walkthrough Text

Administrators can customize the text that displays in the walkthrough messages to conform to your processes and language.

In addition to text, the walkthrough can display images, PDFs, and videos available from a static URL.

Each stop can display multiple slides.
