Build DataGuide Form Logic

When designing a DG Form, you can use the Logic tab to build rules. Form elements and actions must be added to the form before you can begin building the rules.

Add Logic Rule

  1. Click the Logic tab.

  2. Click Add New Rule to start creating a new rule.

  3. At the New Rule screen,

    1. Use the Select dropdown and select the element name that you created on the Designer tab,

    2. Use the Equals dropdown and select an logical operator.

    3. Click the Add Condition button and select from the and/or list.

  4. Click Done.

  5. Repeat if you need to create more rules.

  6. Click the Manual Entry button to manual enter the rule.

Create Rule Condition

  1. Use the Select…​ dropdown and select another element.

  2. Use the Equals dropdown and select a logical operator of Empty, Not Empty, Equals (default), and Does Not Equal..

  3. You can add more conditions to the rule.
