1: Ticket Item Source

  • Controlled by the sources available to the use on the mobile device linked to the Job.

    • Quote from which the job was generated

    • Price Book for the Job and any global price books synced to the user’s mobile device

    • Scheduled Crew or Scheduled Equipment with planning records linked to the Job

    • People (Contacts) associated with a Catalog Item that is in the Price Book for the Job

      Contacts display that have a Catalog Item from the Job’s Price Book assigned in the Contact record’s Job Title from Catalog field

      This option is not shown in the screenshot above. The People option does not display if there are no relevant Contact records.
    • Equipment associated with a Catalog Item that is on the Price Book for the Job

      Equipment items display that have a Catalog Item from the Price Book in the Equipment record’s Catalog Item field.

      This option is not shown in the screenshot above. The Equipment option does not display if there are no relevant Equipment records.

2: Source Item Details

  • Columns that display are determined by the source object’s Search Layout.

3: Item Record Types

  • Ticket Item record types to which the user has permissions and are available in the selected item source.

Other Prompts

Add details before saving?

When FieldFX Mobile users add items to a ticket or quote, a prompt displays asking if they would like to add additional details to each ticket item.

Example of the prompt asking users "Would you like to add details before saving each ticket item? with options for Yes or No

This prompt can be disabled by selecting DisableDetailPrompt in FX Settings.

The setting requires FieldFX Mobile 4.0.1.4740 or later.
